Squad Rules
The Public Zeus Milsim is a place for the most elite members of our community, people who want to work together as a team to accomplish a common goal!
All members of the Milsim are expected to follow the rules and guidelines on this page, under extreme or extra-ordinary circumstances rules marked with "*" may be broken. Although it may be acceptable to break these rules in certain situations, they are by no means not enforced. These rules will be enforced on a case-by-case basis and only if one of the following applies may it be considered reasonable for these rules to be broken:
- You did so to protect yourself or a fellow soldier.
- You did so in an effort to complete the objective.
- You did so under the instruction of your superior.
Whether it is ultimately decided to be reasonable is up to the senior officers reviewing the rule break.
The Rules
0.1
Instructions given by the Command Element (NCO's, Zeus, Squad IC's, etc) must be followed.
0.2
Unnecessary civilian casualties and collateral damage are to be avoided whenever possible.
0.3
Everyone is expected to act maturely and professionally during operations.
0.4 *
During operations, you are not permitted to make use of enemy firearms or personal equipment (This does not apply to ammunition).
This also applies to using equipment that you do not have the qualifications to use
0.5 *
During operations, you are not permitted to make use of enemy vehicles.
0.6 *
Everyone is expected to follow the uniform and equipment code.
0.7 *
Intentional friendly fire is not tolerated!
0.8 *
During operations, everyone is expected to value their life as much as the life of other players.
Strike System
To enforce these rules and guidelines we have implemented a "three-strike" punishment system, for each time you break any rules or guideline on this page (where it is not considered reasonable) you will receive a strike. If you receive three strikes then you will be stripped of your rank and removed from the Milsim. After being removed you may reapply but your removal will be considered as a factor on your application. Applications submitted any sooner than one month from the date of your removal will not be considered.
Attendance to our operations is also a requirement, this works similarly with a "three-strike" system. Everyone is expected to attend operations, if you miss three operations without posting an LOA (at least 24-hours before the operation) you will be removed from your position and considered AWOL.
Strike Expiry
Strikes work a lot like the community point system, once given they have a set length until they expire and if another strike is given before the previous one expires the time resets for the previous strike.
The Strike Expiry Times Are:
1 Strike - 1 Month
2 Strikes - 2 Months
3 Strikes - Removal from Milsim
Strike lengths can be shortened by Milsim Managment for good behaviour.
Example:
You get given a strike on the 4th March, this means the strike will expire on the 4th of April
However if you get another strike on the 3rd of April this will mean you will have accumulated 2 strikes, because of this both strikes will expire on the 3rd of June.
